I’ve heard a lot of folks talking about Amazon suspending all but essential goods shipments. THIS IS NOT TRUE. Unfortunately, this seems to be a clickbait type situation where the headline is intentionally vague to entice you to click on the article.

The actual story is Amazon is suspending shipments of nonessential goods into its warehouse for sale by third parties. Those third-parties sell their goods on Amazon and have Amazon handle all the work of shipping through a service called Fulfilled By Amazon (or FBA). FBA allows those third-parties to ship their inventory to Amazon warehouses and, when purchased, Amazon handles packaging and shipping to their customers. Those are the shipments that are being suspended.

At this point, Amazon is still shipping out ALL orders. I have a few boxes coming this week.
